McQueen A/W11

The spirit of McQueen lives on through a truly exceptional menswear catwalk show in Milan earlier today. Creative Director Sarah Burton has kept the tailoring crisp and contemporary and integrated intense flashes of red to an otherwise subdued colour palette. Definitely the most accomplished collection of AW11 so far.

ICON: Paul Simonon

The legendary Clash bassist and painter Paul Simonon shot by Pennie Smith in 1979 (top) and 1978, at a time when The Clash were at their ultimate unparalleled best.

Cocoon

An utterly fragile and beautiful track taken from Björk's 2001 album Vespertine. Has formed a big part of my playlist so far this year.
