Anthony Price has returned for another capsule collection for Topman. The key piece for me being this grey wool military trench. It felt like real traditional outerwear for me, especially the weight and length of it. Not for the light hearted, or shouldered.
Sunspel SS/11
English heritage brand Sunspel has been making fine quality basics for 150 years now. Therefore it was exciting to hear the news that they had appointed young contemporary British designer J.W Anderson as their Creative Director. Anderson has since introduced a Womenswear line to run alongside it's Menswear for SS/11. The collection contains some great pieces and has a beautiful colour palette of wines, inks and taupe detailing.

ICON: David Hockney
There are not many images that make me long for summer as much as David Hockney's 1967 painting 'A Bigger Splash'. But there is also a rich exuberance in the portraits I see of the British eccentric as I've shown above. Showing throughout the years that great British style shouldn't be limited to bespoke tailoring and tweed.
